Depends on the company. But mostly Project Managers in IT are reduced to PMOs today

Let's say you work for a tier A service company, you will be needed to draw up/ review RFPs, RFQs, create a roadmap plan for your project delivery with the critical milestones and then update them with work breakdown. Then draw a parallel to your project plan with the finance & resource aspect, keep track of the burns, diligently assess risks and keep every stakeholder updated.

But when you work for a tier B / C or other companies or Product companies, you are no different from a PMO and sometimes in a product company, you might be needed to take up some responsibilities of a product manager along with your Stakeholder Management.

Any tips for how to better implement feedback on drafts? My work is so heavily redlined that I struggle to consistently follow through with every comment/feedback. I am in patent prosecution, so it is a lot of detailed technical writing, but is also fairly formulaic, which is nice. Thankfully the partner I work with is extremely patient and a very good teacher, I would just like to be better at learning from his very thorough feedback.
