What is up with everyone being put on PIP in Toronto? It’s starting to feel like an exit strategy to push people out regardless of performance. I’ve seen high-achieving talent placed on PIPs with no clear reason. Same pattern every time: blocked from projects, limited visibility, told to stay “available,” then set up to fail without access to key info. Managers go cold, treat you poorly, then PIP → termination. I’ve seen at least 5 people go through this since last June. What do you call this?
