I think most of us are worried about losing our jobs.
Fascism
🙄
Biggest job concern is having and keeping a job. There are so many reorgs and mergers across multiple industries and sectors that everyone is being impacted at all levels regardless of your performance. Second biggest job concern for me is ageism.
Also about 5 years from retirement although I may do it in 3 years (assuming I still have a job). It's not so much that I want to retire, but i want to do something different while/if I still can.
Not being able to pivot to a job that I 1) like a lot 2) isn’t corporate
My parents are getting older. They won’t be here and in good health forever.
Make sure you take advantage of every second. My last job took way too much of my free time, even more so during lockdown and afterwards working from home, where they treated me like I was always available. I now consider it a blessing in disguise that I lost that job right as both parents began to have health problems, and I was able to help take care of them until they both passed last year just 50 days apart from each other.
The same goes if you have kids growing up. Take advantage of every second and enjoy them. They grow up in the blink of an eye.
I’m worried about not being able to find a job. I’ve been out of work for a couple years and can’t even seem to get my foot in the door. I have 30 years of experience and it kind of kills me right away from the very beginning of getting a chance to talk to anybody.

A recession and no jobs at all.
That for yet another year I will be passed over for a promotion.
Loosing jobs because of AI and so many mergers
Everything.
I’ve been wanting to break out of the industry I’m in for 2 decades now, it’s not for lack of trying. I’ve got pieces of paper that say I can do other things but, I haven’t been able to break into those worlds. I’m afraid that my long term freelance gig will suddenly end before I’ve found additional viable income streams in the industry that I want to switch to.
Biggest fear—no end in sight of an upended economy, and an increasingly shrinking middle class.
Fear of losing a job, not being able to find another job, losing my savings, losing my healthcare, losing my home, living out of my car, losing my car…ending up on the street.
Been working almost 30 years, never feared not finding work…EVER…until now.
I believe big agency/consulting is about to become an endangered profession. Too much overhead, teams too large and expensive, action too encumbered and slow.
The game is now in the hands of small shops—flexible, nimble, decisive because they CAN be.
Too many people I know have gone without work for over a year and more. If you are thinking of going it on your own, it’s your best shot for finding work.
Nuclear warfare
Finding a job.
Let’s flip this question and TRY to lead with faux positivity early in 2026.
