We had someone call out of work one day because they weren’t feeling good and they had their friend who didn’t work there but had experience with food go into work for them. My manager didn’t even kick them out. They just let them work.

Showed up to my old restaurant to start setting up for brunch and found my manager passed out drunk in the back office. Turned out his girlfriend had kicked him out of their apartment and he'd been sleeping there for god knows how long. The owners lived overseas and he ran pretty much everything, so it kind of made sense that he could get away with it. He didn't wake up so I walked out quietly and pretended like I'd just got there when he finally woke up. Wild and pretty sad honestly since he was a decent guy.
