I found so many job postings for various positions in sales at Amazon I have applied to them on LinkedIn. But Amazon never responds to any of my applications. I have 6+ yoe worked with big companies like Nestle, Reckitt and now at Allergan. I am a well seasoned Sales professional. Can someone help me out with the hiring process ?Amazon Amazon India

My uncle was my big deciding factor. He was a part of the tanker brigade (3rd ID) when the US invaded Iraq back in 03 and from that point I wanted to do something similar to that. So I joined the army myself 4 years later as I was about to graduate high school.
my dad was a sergeant major in the army and thats what made me go into the military.
For me, I was an impressionable teenager in high school. The idea got stuck in my head and this is the path that idea took me on.
I didn't have much of a future academically, that's why I thought of joining. It has been a worthwhile journey for the most part.
We are a military family, so naturally the "burden" passed on to me and my brothers. That's pretty much it.
I was 18 when I joined the army because I didn't want to go to college but also felt like I needed to leave my hometown
I had an uncle that joined the Air Force and he's well off now so that was enough motivation for me
My mom and dad were both in the military. I tried to fight it but there's nothing else I really wanted to do so I went for it
It was something I always had an interest in. I identify strongly with my nation so I just wanted to serve it. Someone has to defend the country, and many people feel called to do that. Glad that the army shaped you.
I was a college dropout and NROTC dud. Some Marine buddies convinced me to enlist as a corpsman, and here I am as an HM2 in 3 years lol. Time flies.
Mine was not that big. I just wanted to serve and help. I am really glad I made that decision.
