I'd like to see more from people like me who are trying to balance working a full time job while also trying to get a business off the ground. Have to say, I feel a bit fraudulent lurking in here right now because it seems like most posters are already successfully running their own businesses and have been for some time. Anyone else doing this with me? Context: work in marketing and hate it, teamed up with a friend on a lawncare venture. Started as a side hustle doing the grounds for a few churches and mosques, but it's started to grow and I'm realizing if we want to scale more and start competing for really lucrative contracts (mainly with HOA neighborhoods), we've got to buy more equipment and hire more workers. Knowing those expenses are coming makes it hard for me to want to give up my salary. But continuing to work doesn't give me as much time as I'd like to devote to this.

Thanks for sharing this. I think a lot more people here are in your shoes than you realize. It’s the most common form of entrepreneurship tbh. Community really matters when building at this stage.
It would be great to see more people share too.

Less of the clickbait where you post a vague status, people comment wanting to know more, and they lead you to a link or a number or some sort of outside avenue. Seems sketchy.

I wish I could like this more than once!!! The DMs are the worst!
Is there a search function that I’m not seeing on the Glassdoor app for this or other bowls? It would be nice to be able to search for keywords to see if others have asked questions about my industry (brewery startups). No one wants to see the same question(s) posted over and over, and I know I don’t want to have to slog through hundred or thousands of posts to find relevant content.
