I rthink when your boss does not appreiciate you contribution and dedication to work or an axe to grind or trying to please upper management. I think if all these things align then it's time to move on.
Maybe the pizza party is a reward for the company's record profits. I can't stand companies that do that. It is like they don't care about us.
I left when my boss started asking me who I would fire if I was in his role. I had already planned on leaving, but that was the final straw so I told him that I would make the decision easy for him and I left.
Yes - the pizza parties! So tone deaf.
I was told I needed to improve my performance (after not having any formal onboarding), I asked for help at times when I was struggling, only to be told again that I needed to improve my performance.
When my promised commissions where never paid and when I asked about it they said they didn't say they would pay me. I still have the email they sent when they said how I earn commission. They also never paid the new hire bonus even after I worked the amount of time they required. Same thing happened several times and I was done!! I brought in a lot of new money, sold a ton of credit cards and closed several loans, I never saw any commission for any of it.
