What’s a fair salary? Mid-senior litigation associate in LCOL. 1700 required and billed last year ($395/hr). This year I’m billed at $430 and am on pace for 2000-2100 hours. Last year’s base was 135 (20 bonus). I was raised to 140 but found out a few weeks later those licensed 4 months at the time were at 135 so I asked for a raise and was bumped to 150. What should I really be at? My collection rate is pretty high (~93%+). What should I be at?

Agree. I'm also in a (very) LCOL city. I'm a little more senior (just a few weeks ago moved to senior counsel), but was earning 170K as an associate being billed out at $345.

Pretty huge difference between $395 with 1700 and $430 at 2000.

Even very conservatively (25% going to you rather than 33%) you should be at 200k TC this year assuming you bill 2000.
Go to the partners with the math:
((430x2000) x .25) x .93 =199,950
If they don’t want to wiggle on salary try to at least negotiate a fat bonus to get you to that number.
