When she does good work or something I’ve asked her to do, I, of course, say “thank you!” I don’t really expect a response. She always replies “you’re welcome!” Or some variation. RE Attorneys: When sending title objection letters, how do simplify them for parties on the other side who “just don’t get it”? I try my hardest to explain the purpose of the TOL and that most of the objections will be handled by the title company, but most sellers don’t understand, ignore the TOL, and blow the seller response deadline. Most of the time the only response that is needed is “Yes, Seller agrees to satisfy all B-I requirements and to execute an owners affidavit at closing...”

What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice?
