Advice when looking for Tech Consulting internships in Chicago or DC Metro? My GPA (3.04) has disqualified me from most major companies. I've opted to focus my efforts into my student organizations and helping others reach their goals, in doing this I compromised for a B average. When a new type of project comes in and you get assigned as the PM to “figure out” the project plan, how do you go about resource allocation? Sometimes I struggle to know what the team configuration should even be, because we’ve never done said project type before. It’s hard to know what type of people should be assigned, and at what % time, when there isn’t a preexisting process or work breakdown structure for the deliverables I’m being handed to “manage.” How do/would you handle?
