They are putting conditions like give your full commitment to join then only we'll release offer letter. I am currently looking for work life balance with growth. Disclaimer: I'm not a part of any of the groups mentioned below. Parthenon merged with parts of Advisory Strategy and Operational Transaction Services under Transaction Advisory. The latter two groups are some of the more selective groups in EY. EYP sits under a wider umbrella called Strategy and Transactions (S&T).
The new EYP is an umbrella "strategy" consultancy that is comparable to S& in some ways but probably casts a slightly wider net on the work it sells. EYP focuses on your generic strategy projects (deal, growth, blue sky, CDD), transaction execution (ODD, ITDD, PMI, SMO, or deal execution PMO if you want to call it that), and turnaround/restructuring.
EMs became Directors and SMs became Sr. Directors. It was a compromise so the legacy Parthenon titles that were Vice President didn't have to be down graded to M/SM after the merge
Strategy practice merged with Parthenon I believe. That logo is so obnoxiously large haha it’s so unnecessary

They threw a bunch of non-Parthenon folks under the Parthenon brand. Significantly dilutes the Parthenon brand, but typical EY

Parthenon now includes legacy Parthenon, M&A strategy/Ops, restructuring and parts of strategy advisory

EY bought the brand, they’ll water it down until it’s worthless.
That doesn’t even make sense.
Is the merge global? What about compensation-wise? So they get raise to Parthenon salary?
