Hi guys,
Need help,I am joining VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.
So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?

Hi fishes Will work from home in FIS continue atleast upto Dec 2022? Any idea? FIS Global
I got offer in Bangalore FIS and my husband got an offer with one big company in Hyderabad. Both companies are currently WFH only but in future, I might have to consider moving to Hyderabad. Fis doesn't have office in Hyderabad so I was wondering if I can ask permanent WFH later. I guess I will be put in fis payment solution.
Thanks in advance. Kindly let me know. FIS Global

Ghosted, definitely. It leaves you first with extended uncertainty about if you would hear back. But that’s followed (for me, anyway) by extended disappointment and even anger at the bad effing MANNERS. The lack of simple decency and character that would allow a “professional “ to simply ...walk away without so much as a note. We all have to deliver bad news in this job. Just DO it. Show some respect . Put on your big person pants and make a call. Write a two line email. Send a text. It’s not that hard.
Ghosted, assuming you didn’t bomb it.
If you bomb, you move on and learn from it quickly. Thinking you crushed it and being ghosted leads to time spent second guessing the whole thing. Keep your head up, consider every interview practice and repetition until you land something.
@IP - Aww thanks so much for the kind words. I know deep down inside this will pass, and something great will happen, but right now I’m feeling extra salty. Chin up I guess.
@OP I definitely know the feel. It’s okay to be salty, but you also gotta shake it off and keep after it. Like I said, you’ll land something wonderful soon. 😎
@OP PREACH 🙌🏻 It’s so frustrating/discouraging, no matter what... and for me personally, both of the situations you described happened 4x to me off and on over the span of 1.5 years... with the SAME agency. Felt like an abusive bf/gf I could find the strength to walk away from. They’d dangle the carrot just close enough that I kept moving towards it, until finally, a better opportunity came along, and I have grown 10x as a producer. Keep your head up, you’ll land something wonderful soon!!!
