What hacks do you use to lose weight?
Hi Fishes
I want to share very bad experience I had at Mastercard
I was given offer by Mastercard in month of Dec The hike was less but looking at brand & other perks I accepted the offer & was looking forward to joining them.I got few offers & I went back to them for sole purpose of renegotiating CTC, to have a industry standard hike. They didn't reverted back for 2-3 days & just dropped a mail that they are revoking initial offer as well on grounds that they didn't like i gave other interview

Just to provide another perspective - freelance is a good way to make an ACD salary but continue to be a maker vs manager. I’m basically the same level as you, was waiting for an ACD promotion at my last job, it didn’t come and I’ve decided to go freelance and loving it.
Or even a CD salary
I would take a look at what makes the job most fulfilling, is it executing the work? Is it managing? Does the idea of managing give you the creeps? What are you looking to gain from your career as you move forward?
I’ve been ACD for 1.5 years and I’ve found that because it’s on the cusp of being a “leader”, I’m still executing designs and building decks, but also providing guidance and mentorship for a team. It’s the best of both worlds for me, and I’ve grown to like it. But that’s not what everyone is looking for.
Meetings overall have gotten exhausting! It’s all the same, no physical vibes that you can read. The energy feels trapped behind a pane of glass that you just can’t break. Totally understand.
Sounds like you’re ready for that bump and you’re excited to make that step! You can always try a different path or different agency if the fit isn’t right where you’re at.
The more you move up, the more the expectations and responsibility are on you, no one else. It’s the hardest role in advertising people say because you have to make and manage. Make sure you find good mentors because it’s the part of your career where people spend a lot of money on you and you have a lot of value, so you need to produce.
Worth it if you want to keep moving up and keep making more money. Not worth it if you don’t want the stress and responsibilities.

It’s nice that you’re dedicated, just guard your heart because “ACD” is kind of famous for being just a title with no real change in responsibilities. It varies place to place, but its pretty rare that ACDs get to really manage people, or take over a piece of business, or really do much that feels different.
But I hope you get it and (most importantly) I hope it comes with a RAISE, and I hope Im wrong at your particular place.
