I’ve been working my ass off to make it to ACD and I feel like this milestone has been all-consuming. I’m close, I can feel it. But will I be full-filled when I get there? And if so, for how long? I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. I’m extra worried because it doesn’t seem there’s IB analyst positions out there. Im really hoping come January more positions come up but I’m just praying they don’t fire me until then. Anyone have general tips for this situation?

How tough is it to make the jump from SMB SAAS to Mid-market type roles? I’ve been annihilating my quota in my current role for the past 18 months, but on pretty small deal sizes. (Also I have no college degree) will sales managers care more about the performance record? Or more about the lack of big deal experience?

Have 3 busy seasons of big4 audit experience and going on 3 years in the finance/ops department of a F75 company. CPA and I’ve always been a top performer. I don’t have any interest in accounting and Primarily work on and enjoy improving processes at my company and am thinking about trying to do some type of process improvement consulting for financial service firms. Does anyone have any insight on this type of career or a similar path?

I was just let go from a contract position 2 months early due to client reorgs (Covid). Was filed as a W2 but on a 6 month contract. Would I still qualify for unemployment? Pre Covid I wouldn’t but with the continued Pandemic Assistance plan, I think I might. Does anyone here have experience with this?
