Getting over heartbreak and having a full time job is torture lol. My boyfriend and I just broke up after almost a year of being together. I’m so grumpy about new campus hires. Sometimes I’m judgmental (your hobby is “working on your golf swing,” really?). Sometimes I’m just exhausted by the worried earnestness. Sometimes I’m amazed that they seem to have zero useful skills, yet they’ll be making 150k easily in the not too distant future.

The only reason I ever pursued casual sex (a couple times when I was 17-19) was to not get my heart broken. It always sucked and was so boring. I don’t understand when people say they want sex with no emotions. It’s the best part.
