When interviewing - either as the interviewer or interviewee - what of you think of the recommendation to say things like "What a great question!" or "I'm really glad you asked me that!" I personally find this to be false flattery. As an interviewer it turns me off. And, as an interviewee I try to focus on real answers to the question.

But, perhaps others have had success with this approach.

My gf and I are having a big discussion and I would love to get your thoughts on this. It’s about how much we keep in touch and communicate when I’m on the road. She needs to hear from me everyday multiple times and if I don’t answer her texts within a few hours, she can get quite controlling (text over and over again, also on my work phone, asks what I am doing and gets upset). I am not used to that and have the trust if she doesn’t text back, that it’s for good reasons, busy at work…. (Ctd)

Hi, I'm planning to target a product based company for the position of a frontend developer. I am going through JS, ReactJS, NodeJS, Express, and networking concepts. However, for ds algo rounds, should I focus on solving it using JS? I used Java during my college years for ds algo, so I'm familiar with it. But, since I'll be aiming for a JS job, I'm not sure whether I should practice ds algo using Java or JS. Please help me decide. YOE=1, working on .net and sql maintenance project in Deloitte.

Hi I have a question. I have been in media for television and radio for 20 years. I am looking to pivot to tech and I have an interview next Friday with a recruiter. It is for an executive broadcast booker position at Meta. There is no salary listed for this position or no previous salary history on glassdoor. I did find a salary listing but for Colorado and the minimum is 217,000. If I am questioned about what am my salary expectations; if i said 28000 is that too much & will that scare them.
