Came here to say that 50/50 is pretty high. The job isn’t to like your work, it’s to push you to improve it. So many creatives use words like “like” and “hate” and that isn’t it at all. I loved something today that I had to kill because the client would never buy it and would’ve killed me for letting them bring it. The job is to bring the client the best work to solve their problem that you can sell in.

My CCO can be pretty hard to please too, but I’ve learned that getting feedback early on helps. Even if it’s 50/50, at least you know where to adjust next time! It's frustrating but I have come to value the harsh feedback along with the praise, I've definitely gotten better at my role

Generally speaking, they should dislike significantly more than things they like. But “hate”? that should be pretty rare after the first couple months of getting to know their taste. Unless their just not cool people.

Anyone have any friends who successfully pivoted out of advertising? I know a handful of people who are half-trying to, but I can’t think of anyone who has made a clean break, on their own terms, into something that appears to be making them feel more fulfilled than they were in the ad biz. So they continue freelancing in order to make a living, while not gaining much traction elsewhere.

Hi Fishes , i have 7+ years of experience in QA...currently working in tcs. I got offer from EY GDS....i joined tcs 1 year back. I got around 30% hike and lead post in EY...My doubt is it switch from tcs to EY will be worth for me and my carrer ? EY WLB and work culutre all the cases...

In the past I’ve wrongly thought that forgiveness brings restoration of relationships. But reconciliation requires everyone involved to respond -which is beyond our control. Forgiveness says I’m canceling that debt- it’s my marker & I’m tearing it up. I’m putting myself in Gods hands -Justice comes from Him. We mistakenly think that forgiveness is weakness as if we just capitulated. Forgiveness isn’t a sign of weakness- It takes strength to forgive. God tells us to forgive.
