B4 is incomparable very early in your career. You learn how to be a consultant, create flawless deliverables, and translate ideas/see the big picture. You also build a large network.
This is not only true in consulting, but smaller companies generally lead to you doing and learning more in a shorter period of time, and can get exposure to many parts of the business. If you are highly motivated, there is also the likelihood that you will be recognized and move up more quickly than in a larger firm. I believe the move to a smaller firm is best 4-5 years into your career.
Thanks! Does it make a big difference if you make the switch at a senior or manager level? Assuming that’s about 4-5 years into your career.
Alumni network is just too strong among b4. Id take s&/monitor/parth over a boutique any day of the week. Never even heard of OnPrem.
It really depends what you want to do.
If you're really interested in focusing on entertainment industry, OnPrem is a great option, and will build you a ton of contacts.
Not sure why LEK is being mentioned with these other firms. We aren't in the same league. We are similar to a Parthenon/S& type
...ok?
