I’ve been interviewing for a role at a PE firm for awhile and really like the team, culture, investment philosophy, etc. however I would be the only woman at the firm if I get an offer/accept. While I’ve spent most of my career surrounded by older white men, I’ve always had at least one or two female peers in the office. Any advice on how to factor this into my decision? Ever been “leapfrogged” for promotion by someone more junior in your own team? Any advice on coping? Not confirmed/announced yet but I’ve heard it from an inside source.
