I'm looking for work as a Credit Controller. Preferably remote or hybrid with a lot of flexibility. I've been working remotely for the last 1.5 years and would like to continue that. I have 8.5 years of experience as a Credit Controller in B2B set up. I'm based in England but happy to work in any country :) JPMorgan Chase Citi Wells Fargo Deloitte Accenture Amazon Tata Consultancy Infosys Morgan Stanley
After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

I always dodge and redirect to what I'm looking for. Last time I made the mistake of sharing, I got lowballed by about $15k because they anchored to my number instead of the market rate. Lesson learned.

That sounds about right! Once you put a number out there, it’s like it becomes the ceiling instead of the floor!
If it’s an internal recruiter, I’ll tell them the number I want as my comp.
If I have to, I round up a little or ill just dodge it and reply with what I would have to make to leave my current role. For example If I’m making 130 I’m not gonna leave to make 135 that wouldn’t make sense unless if I were in a poor environment or there were some other reason. Usually the reason I’m leaving is to make a decent amount more money so it doesn’t matter what I’m making now. What matters is how much i need to be making in order to leave my current role.

That makes sense! You’re basically steering the conversation toward expectations rather than what’s currently making.
