I spray everything with neem oil before bringing it into the house. I don't repot at all. I keep everything in the original containers with original dirt until they get too big for it. I buy pots that fit the plastic containers inside them and when I water, I just pull the whole thing out and shower them.

What brand of Neem oil do you recommend?
That depends on their condition. I don't buy a lot of plants these days, I tend to propagate most of what I have. But when I do buy a plant I lift it out of the pot and check the roots. If it's really rootbound then I'll repot it. In general I like to repot things and put in some fresh potting soil, but after checking the roots that may not be necessary.

Yeah most of the plants I have purchased have too many roots it gets difficult for me once I repot though some of my plants don't make it
Repot/ transplant everything unless your like the way a black, plastic container looks, and roots need to room to grow.

In the past I have kept some in the same liner and just put in a larger cute pot.
Honestly it just depends on the plant. If I know its a plant that doesn't like drastic change I will sometimes leave it in the liner. Other times I will come home and immediatley repot it so I don't have to worry about it.

Is there somewhere you check if a plant is sensitive? I have this issue where I repotted and then they start dying like the next day :(
I've done different things with every plant. But the nursery I like the most is this really cute spot that will actually help you pot your plants there, you can even just bring your own pot from home if you don't need to buy a new one. And they'll help you with it, so I almost always re-pot

Wow that's helpful, repotting gets messy!
