To me, look into commercial real estate investments like REITs in a property class you’ve researched. Full disclosure—to a hammer everything looks like a nail, and all my investments are in real estate funds where I’m also a principal, but if you don’t want to go totally into it, REITs are a good option.

Also, best brokerages? Thank you!

Getting crushed in one year is irrelevant to me. It will be fine going forward. In less you were planning to spend your whole portfolio in one year, I don’t think it matters

Hello Fishes,

I have joined hcl on 24 th sep 2021 and my last working day here is 18th May 2022.
Today I received my provisional full and final settlement and the payable amount is negative -11454. They are recovering the full AMPB amount which I got from September months.
I have heard from this platform only that hcl stopped the recovery police but still I got the negative fnf.

Anyone been able to work from Dubai for a UK/US firm and benefit from no taxes? I know if you are a US citizen you pay taxes where you are globally, but if you are British, then you only pay income tax on UK income - so if you live more than half the year abroad you are classed as non-domicile resident, but wanted to hear if anyone’s done this or heard about it?

Hi folks, I had a quick question around remote work. My office is in San Francisco but I worked remotely from NJ for clients on the WC. How should I answer the question, “did you earn income working remotely by providing the services in a different state than the state you originally engaged employment with it”? If it matters, I never set foot in CA.

Great question! And without getting too much into monetary policy.... Fed rates are set by the Federal Reserve which banks use to charge each other to borrow money. A lot of times these rates move together, however, a Fed rate increase does not instantaneously change the rates the bank offers.
