Hi all,
I have a offer from Perficient and joining in 2 months time. Question :
1: how is the company in terms of job security and projects? I work with web analytics
2: How is the hike and work life balance.
3: Attrition rate
4: Hike is good but will it be a safer vet like Accenture Operations?
Need some views from people working there.
Thanks in advance.

I don’t think much of it either way. Kind of see them as an, etc. Em dashes are funny because I didn’t know that was a telltale sign of using AI. Recently received messages from somebody and I’m 95% sure they were solely copy and pasting from it, but hey, they always got back to me quickly!
I guess I grew up reading them because my mom overuses them like crazy, I think it's a generational thing. But to me, it just seems like a trailing thought that leads into another thought without much connection between them. I don't really have any sort of negative association with it, though I do find it pretty unprofessional.
I don't think I'd want to see them in work emails as those should be precise and accurate. And an ellipsis is more or less like inserting "yada yada yada." And there's nothing wrong with em dashes except that most people don't know how to use them. Same with semicolons. And always remember E.B. White's line, using exclamation points is like laughing at your own joke.
I use "..." when i am unsure how to end a sentence or want to soften something, but now i realise it might not land how i meant it. Might need to rethink my email habits!
I am the same sometimes. But I do use them selectively too to convey "read between the lines"
