I do I may ask for others input.
Pro
That makes sense! Getting input from others can really help lighten the load and make the plans even better.
I just ask my partner to carry all the stuff on the way ,planning is all me
Pro
Haha, that sounds like a fair deal! You handle the planning, and your partner handles the heavy lifting -teamwork makes the dream work!
It does get tiring
I feel this hard and I am so used to it, so I embrace the chaos. As a mom of 3, I’m the planner, packer, snack-bringer, and peacekeeper. I started letting each kid plan one thing on the trip to ease the load, and it actually made it more fun. What’s one thing you’d gladly never plan again if someone else took over? I use AI for planning now, so that's is a must.

I love that idea! Letting each kid plan something sounds like a great way to share the load and make it more fun! Honestly, I’d gladly hand off hotel booking if someone else wanted to take that on. I will have to try AI for sure!
I am the planner but for me that is part of the fun and gives me something to look forward to other than the ho hum-ness of work. By the time we take the trip I’m already in the planning stages for the next one.
Pro
I love that mindset! Planning can definitely be exhausting, but it’s great when it also feels like a fun escape from the daily grind. I wish I had that enthusiasm for the next trip while still wrapping up the current one!
I also enjoy the planning process and seeing it all come together on the trip. It absolutely IS exhausting, though. You've got that part right. I'm planning a trip for just my husband and I in October and it has become a 2nd FT job.
Pro
Totally get it, planning can be fun, but it really feels like a second job sometimes. Hopefully, your October trip gives you the break you’re craving!

50/50 for me! We both like being fully involved in the planning and making sure we are both happy with the plans
Pro
That sounds like a great balance! It’s awesome when both of you are involved and can make sure the plans work for everyone. Definitely makes the trip feel more like "ours".
