Very interesting question. I am wondering myself weather the new tax code favors Inc. vs LLC which is current status. Someone please help us with this question.
You can pass through all fee based income through LLC big tax savings (medicaid,SS). Ameriprise allows this they have a guide that shows you how to accomplish this
Talk to your CPA. In my "enough to be dangerous" knowledge, there won't be much benefit. Your a member of an excluded profession (finance) and your flow thru is above (or near) the threshold for pass thru deduction.
Additionally add an ameriprise financial p2 you are not allowed to do that. All money has to flow to you and to your schedule c. You can not then flow it to a llc. I have seen many p2s get in huge trouble when it's found out as it's clearly stated in or franchise agreement.
Yes, you can. Advisory fees can be passed to an entity. Commissions, no bueno.
Not with ameriprise.
Go check 12.2 of your compliance manual.
Just in case I was wrong I went back and read the sections. It says we can pay staff. I'm pretty sure the franchisee would not be considered staff. But hey more power to you.
