Ally has savings accounts with 2.2% APY. Love my experience with them. I don't get charged any fees from them, but there may be a minimum balance requirement for that.
There’s no minimum balance
I use Marcus and love it
Great internet rate and easy to do. One thing that is not ideal is that they don’t have an app but that’s not a deal breaker for me
Yes, Ally, Marcus by Goldman Sachs, Wealthfront are all over 2% interest
SoFi Money
I use SoFi money with 2.25% APY
TBills
Deloitte 3 - TBill auctions are held weekly and can be sold in seconds during market hours - most liquid security you can own.
I use ally as well
Marcus 2.25
Any reason why PNC Bank doesn't get any love in the HYS department? They give 2.35% but I never see anyone recommend them with Ally, Marcus, Schwab etc. Am I missing something in their terms?
I think it is for locations where there isn’t a PNC location
Discover 2.10
Amex savings is the best
Marcus also has no penalty CDs that are slightly better than the savings accounts and have no early redemption fees
I would put it in a long term stock like Microsoft
He said less risk....
I use Wealthfront. 2.29% interest and no fees or minimum balance required
I think PNC is just not as well known and they have more restrictions to get the rates
Citizens Access is 2.35% - super easy. Minimum balance is 5k
Average annual s&p 500 index return in the last 50 years is 10-12%
CIT bank has 2.4% interest. Believe only requirement is direct deposit of $100-$200 per month to maintain higher rate.
Wealth front just upped their cash account interest to 2.51%. Let me know if you'd like a invite link, we both will get $5000 additional to $15000 managed for free should you chose to use their investment robot advisor as well
