Any thoughts on which would be best for future, quickest to get, hardest test? I get the cert paid for and a bonus upon completion, so trying to decide which one to pursue or the order if I want multiple.

Hi 🐠 two offers — would love to hear any insight: Offer 1: Walmart senior product manager: $200K base; $50k bonus, $40k stock vesting 4 years, $40k stock each year (vesting 4 years), $20k signing. TC YR1= $280k Offer 2: pre-ipo start up product manager, $145k base, $55k bonus, $40k shares, $15k signing. TC YR1=$225K. What makes being a partner “worth it” at a V100/Am100 firm? Seems partners have a lot of the same complaints about staffing issues, workload, and compensation.
I got hired at EY after mid year. My offer letter says I’m not eligible for salary increase until 10/18. Is that typical?
Does anyone know what typically bonus is for an SC I know it’s up to 24%(I think) but wanted to get more realistic numbers - if you are a top performer.

Planning to exit from 1st yr Engagement Mgr to industry Director level. Base comp / benefits that should be reasonable to ask? Thinking of 200-225 base plus bonus. Reasonable? Current: 169 plus bonus.
I love this group. For those that receive company equity as part of their comp, what’s your strategy? Do you immediately sell it all and put the cash into index funds?
My sister and I are 29 and 31, respectively. I’m struggling with something that has irked me our entire lives. My parents pay for things like her dog’s medical bills, vacations and moving expenses. They always want to help. The problem is they’ve never offered to pay for those things for me, and I’ve never asked because I’m a fully grown adult and don’t want them to spend their retirement on us. She has savings and isn’t struggling financially. Why does this bother me so much?

Hey fish, need some career advice. I recently got promoted to senior! We have been working on a client deliverable to close a project and my current engagement has two made directors who I work with directly( one just got promoted from SM this July ) . During one of our discussions in putting this doc together, I may have come out as “aggressive”/“opinionated . I’m generally the quiet one , asking for feedback and listening in mostly. I didn’t realize it in the moment but at that point (contd)

Attempting to renter the workforce after a 2 year hiatus due to health issues followed by the pandemic. During this time off I had minor success running a small business, but not enough to pay the bills. I have 3 YOE, 1.5 as a Loan Officer, and 1.5 as a consultant within compliance and Fintech. Please let me know of any fully remote positions, or hybrid positions based out of Chicago or Milwaukee. I live in Dubuque IA, so for in office work it would have to be in Dubuque. TIA!
