Where do you go from here? You have a low income (even though I work my life off), you're living as frugally as possible, you barely cater to your wants, just needs ... and yet student loan debt is not a problem I'm able to be at ease with. Every month is a struggle. I live in a studio so my rent is only $1.2K. What should I be changing? Where can I spend less? I'm absolutely exhausted and can't figure this out on my own.

Do you have other debt?
How comfortable are you with getting a credit card to earn cash back? I pay the statement balance every month so I don’t pay interest, but I use a variety of credit cards depending on the purchase to get the most cash back (I.e. groceries, gas, restaurants, etc).
Have you tried apps like Ibotta, CoinOut, Fetch, Pogo, or Copper? It’s not a get rich scheme by any means. But you can redeem for cash, gift cards, etc.

I feel you. We're all in the struggle together. I think maybe pick up a side gig on the weekends? I feel bad to even say this but Idk what else could be your solution? I know you're exhausted. Any subscriptions you could maybe cancel?

Jot down your expenses and upload them to Claude or ChatGpt and pepper it with money saving tips or advice along with any recommendations for future plans to increase your disposable income in the future.

Thanks! I will try this

My PA experience has provided me with hard skills, which is why I think it would be a great segway into the music biz & entertainment industry. Please react/comment if you are in the music biz/tech field. Would love some advise on how to pivot!

LCSW 50k loan repayment- Has anyone been granted a contract through the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program? I’m interested in applying for the 2 years of full time work as an LCSW but my loans are a bit under 50k so I’m wondering if they would only give me what I need to clear my loans or would I still get 50k as long as I complete my contract ?

If you didn't have to pay off any more of your student loans what would you use the money for instead? I'm stuck between something impractical like a trip somewhere or something I need like a new car lol

Curious to know how much your student loans were when you graduated from your program, how much you’ve paid off so far, and your age. If you have any varying factors too, like kids, income range, etc. Just trying to see if I’m on track or slacking in life. I am 34 yo, i graduated with 95k in student loans, i currently have 85k left and i make 85k in come. I’m also a single mom with two kids. Just praying for 100% student loans forgiveness. Wishful thinking???
