I’m currently working for a company that has a global presence of about 250 employees 50 of which are in the US. I manage all of recruiting for the US.
In the new year we are looking to hire someone to be the first true HR person. I have a background in HR but have always specialized in recruiting.
My question is, do I position myself to take the HR role and backfill my recruiter role?

Does anyone work remotely outside Canada? Do you guys have any issues?

Top Corp Dev teams: Trying to find the “top” (using this as short hand, I know it’s subjective) PE shops had a bunch of resources to use. It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️
