Has anyone had any experience with Water Street Partners for lateral recruiting? Reached out to me cold with a few ideas and I’ve had two follow up emails and a call with an MD at reputable banks, but it all seems very sketchy. For instance an “HR Specialist” reached out to me to set up a call, but when I look her up on LinkedIn she’s a IB VP. The MD I spoke to named a few other people he was going to have reach out, but haven’t heard from either of them. Just doesn’t feel like a normal process

I’m looking to transition to an in-house role. I have a litigation/investigations/regulatory background and haven’t had much success anywhere, even with referrals. Has anyone used a recruiter who specializes in in-house placements? Wondering if I’m doing something wrong in my application or if I am applying for the wrong roles. Thanks!

Received selection confirmation email from FIS global, asked me documents on 28 Sep, and discussed salary over phone. I had Confirmed them on 29 sep. I have an offer from ZS for an AC role. The package offered is 12.5 lakhs. I'm planning to stay for at least 5 years. What would be my career trajectory at ZS? How are promotions and hikes? Can I expect to be at around 20 LPA package in 3-4 years, being an average performer?

My yearly income (post standard deduction+ 1.5 lacs 80c investment) is 650,000. (April 21- march 22).

I will also receive 2,00,000 joining bonus this month end.

Total income: 6.5 lacs + 2 lacs

Question:
1. Will 10% taxes(as per old regime slab) be deducted on 6.5 lacs and flat 30% be deducted on joining bonus?
Or
Only 10% Tax will be deducted on 8.5 lacs(6.5 + 2 lacs jb)?

2. Need suggestion to save tax on the above numbers.
