I would go with option 1, unlimited PTO is scam , we would never get approvals from manager. It’s just my opinion
I want to take offer 2 but my main concern is regretting not having the 6 months of mat leave to bond with baby :( I can always negotiate with opt 2 but having default is nice!
Unlimited PTO is a scam. Led pay will also likely mean less expectations. Go with option 1.
If my currently pregnant wife was interviewing, I would have told her the first option too.
Pro
No mat leave is going to very quickly eat up the higher salary of option 2.
It would be around 22k, because I’m not getting paid fully since I don’t meet the one year employee criteria
