If you want to work on the East Coast then I suggest Cornell. UCLA network is strong on the west coast and typically 75% of students STAY on the west coast so placing to the East Coast might be challenging.
Toss up with slight edge to UCLA due to location and proximity to companies.
But location and culture should dictate your choice. Where do you want to live after? Which students do you jive with the best? LA weather is >>>> better than that of Ithaca. But plenty of people can’t stand LA culture. Focus on that stuff.
