I will be joining Oracle Financial Services Software(OFSS) and I am worried about job security considering the layoffs that will be happening in Oracle as per below link:

Well even if its only money you can convince the recruiter that the profile and the project offered by this company is better compared to the other offer you have in hand and it gives you more learning opportunity and bla bla as per your analysis so you are more interested to take up this role over the other. Clearly you will get more by showing more interest towards the new role to the recruiter.
Tried and tested method. P.S you should have a good negotiation skill as well you may need to convenience requiter why you are best fitted for thos role.

Happened recently when the hiring manager put me on the spot with this..
I said that my intention was always to join here given a chance, but since I got a call from the other company earlier, thought of taking the interview just to see where I stand.. Also, it is always better to do a bit of research about the interviewing firm's core values and practices.. Adding these while answering such questions will certainly go a long way in helping you get the offer!
Ofcourse it is fake and they know it! They just ask it as a formality. You can say anything.
To be honest no. Unless there are limited positions open and they are looking for only 2-3 candidates.
Just tell them something good about their company and tell I prefer this over the previous offer. They know you are making up stuff, it's just a formality. Even the HR who is asking the question is also working for money 🤷

I am not sure if this is too straight forward but just giving my perspective. You can answer as below:
Just say you have 2 job postings and 5 people attend the interview, you will interview all the 5 persons even though you know that 1st two are eligible for the post. This is just because you try to find a better resource for your organization. Similar way, I am trying to choose a better option for myself and this is the one I choose. I strongly believe that I made the right choice.
I usually just say that I am looking forward to work in your organisation as it will be a great value add for my career growth.
But sometimes it might backfire and they can ask you to accept the offer with same compensation or even less.. it happened with me for one such company🤦🏻
