Anyone recently received a tax manager offer from EY ? I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

PwC for sure. The firm has spent an absurd amount of money over the last year updating our technology. Obviously still plenty to complain about but getting much better.
Ignition guy here. Would love to challenge any other firm to a hackathon and see if they actually are worth the hype
Definitely not EY, our tech is worst among all Big4. I’d think Deloitte has the best tech.
I just boomeranged back to pwc from EY. Pwc is light years ahead. I had a manager at EY tell me to use excel over tax software for projections because she didn’t trust it...
Manager in TRS. TRS is similar to TTT... EY doesn’t have anything quite like the DA program. DA is also different because everyone came from a technical background. At EY, I would say 75% of the TTT group does not have a tax background. I think if you like the tax technical side of things, DA is a great role because you can leverage your tax knowledge.
LOL definitely not PwC. I don’t know why a lot of people think that. Our technology is trash.
What do you think is trash?
Having been at Kpmg and Pwc id say KPMG by far. Pwc wins on audit software but Kpmg beats them on their internally developed tax software.
Yes. One of our tax platforms uses it. Not sure about other groups.
