So I say this with complete humility and an understanding that this is a fortunate-ish situation to be in. I’m in a position where I am tied to nothing, I have no children, spouse, or house. My job, which I’ve loved until some recent significant leadership changes, is sucking the life out of me and I think it may be time for a change. I get to choose my new title. But what should I choose?
I‘m thinking either Head of Marketing or Marketing Director. What is best? Is there a better title I‘m missing?
The person who had the role before me, had the title Head of Marketing.

I have a question. I have enough credits for the CPA exam, but before I realized that I was aiming for a Master in Accounting and got accepted in my school 5 year program for that purpose. Is there any benefit of getting said master? Or should I focus on passing the CPA exam instead? I just finished my first tax internship and everybody said that the CPA was unavoidable but nobody talked about any benefit of getting a master whatsoever.

This might sound like a crazy question but never having worked in public before: Billable hours - if you’re very efficient at your job, do you stretch out the time and work slower to get to your billable hours or do you safe the client the money. In a Situation where you don’t have other projects to work on. Tell me the ins and outs of working billable hours for a complete newbie.
