Why does it take so long for PWC to return on the applications for any job role despite being referred by someone at an Assistant Manager level?

I am new in London. I have 4 years of M&A experience in the buy side. I have come across an opportunity to work with Rede Partners in London. But I am not aware of what exactly they do and what to expect going ahead. Can someone please guide if they are aware of Rede Partners?

Hi, been stuck in the contract analysis/review cycle. I have asked a few recruiters how to make a lateral move into in-house. They told me to focus on contract management, which I have been doing for the past year. This is twice now in back to back weeks my boss has asked me where the disconnect was in our communications because I didn’t deliver on what “was asked”, even though I know damn well what was asked and what was done were the same thing. I’m not sure if he’s changing the meaning or isn’t communicating what he’s envisioning or what but it’s embarrassing to be called out like that, and to have people think you’re the dumb 23 year old.

I’ll be asking my last job for a letter of recommendation but I’m not sure who to ask. My boss, who is lovely and would write an amazing LOR. Or my boss's boss who would put minimal effort in but it would have more weight.

PWC AC Kolkata UK team is the worst team.

They put a status call at 10 in the morning and expect to work throughout the day till 9PM with all the calls at night

If someone logs off at 8ish also. It is considered as early off. One the worst work life balance ever in UK supporting organisation.
