Why does the office feel like a ghost town on Fridays if we’re all supposed to be fully back in person? Our team shows up, but leadership is nowhere to be found. It’s hard not to notice the double standard, especially when we’re still hearing about the importance of “office culture” every time someone asks for a WFH day. Curious if others are seeing the same thing.

If you need to wfh, ask for it. Leadership is doing the same as they are needing the flexibility.

I was hybrid at my last company and the office was constantly a ghost town. It always seemed like either nobody ever worked in office or we all just happened to stagger enough to not run into each other.

Wednesday being the most pack day should already give hint that some orgs still have 4 day in office and 1 day WFH still.

That is so classic

We are never in the office Fridays

Last week I got automated call from infosys and asked few details . After that I got call from hr and said my interview is scheduled on next week and very next day one person called me and asked few technical questions .she said she's calling from infosys and this is technical screening round . Today same hr called and said she will be scheduling a client interview.

My doubt is till now I didn't received any mail from infosys. So this is scam or part of infosys interview process?

Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

Hey all! I have an interview with
Deloitte in Regulatory Risk and more precisely in their Investment Management Services team. I would like to know if anyone
knows what the job entails exactly. I keep hearing about people "fooled" into taking a job in risk advisory thinking it'll really be advisory while they only end up doing IT and Audit support (which I do not want to do).
Is it the case here?
Thanks!

Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)? I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad. My current company and many others I know about do not offer the mobility to do so until much later, which is not what I want. Thank you.
