Microsoft is hiring an account executive and I’m really interested in the role. I have B2B sales experience in a different industry, but my skills include lead generation, prospecting, account management, negotiating, etc (all within the C Suite and other decision makers).
Would appreciate knowing if this is something I have a shot at with no tech sales experience and what I could expect for promotional opportunities and compensation.
Thanks for the help!

I am a Senior Consultant on EY’s Digital Forensics team. Our team has been growing rapidly recently and we are looking to hire some folks out on the west coast, specifically for our SF and LA offices. We are hiring at the Senior and Staff levels (including entry level positions in LA). If you are interested in learning more about EY Forensics or learning more the position feel free to reach out!
PwC 🐠, I interviewed with the firm about 6 months ago for a Senior Associate position on the forensics team. I wasn’t extended an offer because the position was given to an internal transfer, at least what I was told. I tried reaching out to the recruiter I worked with last time but the email bounced back and wouldn’t be delivered. I was hoping to see / reapply if the group still was looking for seniors.
In your opinion, would it be best to reapply as a cold application?

You don’t need an accounting background or a CPA to be in forensics. I don’t. Plus I don’t get scooped up for any of the long term boring “CPA needed/accounting knowledge needed” jobs. Win win!

Interesting. Why? We don't really investigate. We're more tech support for other groups, including forensic accounting.
Most ppl are doing the opposite
More job openings in eDiscovery and Business Intelligence that classic Forensic investigation jobs CPAs would do
