This is literally not true and I'm the counterexample. I live in SF and am single. I know plenty of other people that are single too. I think it might just come down to the kind of places that you frequent and what time of day you're there. This just sounds like confirmation bias to me
Sounds like you single folks don't leave the house/office much😁
weird post, first part categorically untrue
Sorry, you missed cuffing season.
Families? I rarely see kids compared to other cities I've lived in. There are more dogs than kids in the city. This is an expected result of sky high housing costs, limited private green space and house sizes compared to neighboring suburbs, most restaurants being more adult oriented, expensive parking with high risk of break-in if you left kid stuff in the car, and a high prevalence of mentally ill drug addicts on the street
It could just be what you're seeing. Couples and families are probably more likely to be out and around and thereby visible. Single people just don't get noticed as much. Or, in some situations, like restaurants, for instance, you're just less likely to see them. We singles are around, but we're keepin' it incognito.
Because you kind of need the dual income to live there… so couples move in to sf and make up the majority of the population
I’m single and just bought my first house so I’m staying in as much as possible because (1) I love it here, (2) it’s too peopley outside and (3) I am broke after the down payment.
