Can’t dispute a cash transaction with the bank!
You should opt for credit card. If they do a terrible job or steal from you, you at least have some recourse through your card issuer. It's worth the convenience fee.
I think paying in cash has some tax implications for the service provider?
FWIW I paid in cash when I moved and it worked out fine. My wife and I were present during packing / loading / unloading and didn’t experience any breakage or theft.

Thanks, so I am thinking if I would pay the bill on credit card, I might as well pay the tip on credit card as well.. how will splitting this on credit and cash help me..? I am missing something…
