I have 6 YOE in. Net+Angular and got an offer from Legato Health Technologies with 20 LPA Fixed, i joined Infor just 11 months ago with 12LPA Fixed and i will get the hike in August. If i resign now i will not get hike and i am a critical resource in the project, i guess Infor might try to retain me by matching offer. What should i do? Should i resign ASAP and not negotiate with Infor . I have all these doubts because Infor is a product based company.

I've wondered this exact same thing, my cousin works for LM and it sounds like a great place to work
Definitely used to be.
Wow! My experience with the entire interview process was amazing. The recruiter was great. The video interviewers were great and made it fun. The only downfall was the start date change. I was to get a new contract, but never did. I didn’t want to begin working without signing a new one, but they wanted me too; it didn’t feel right, so I turned them down.
Liberty is 80% who you know. It was very tough for me to get in and when I did, I realized why - they are very picky
I would agree w this statement too. The first time I was hired on, my sister worked for the company and referred me. The second time, I had a referral from 2 current employees.
As an employee who’s tried to help recruit friends and classmates into the company, I’ve struggled and failed to get 3 people through the door. No ideal solution but you aren’t alone in your frustration.
Are you checking to see how recent the posting is and that the role is either around your own job grade or you know the HM? I've gotten several friends/family to the interview stage, and a couple hired (🤑)
Wow! Thats crazy. Ive never known Liberty to not provide extremely comprehensive training. Not sure what your age range is, but I do know its going to be an uphill battle with Liberty if youre on the older side. Once, I was working a job fair and the managers working the fair were debriefing on what we were looking for in our candidates. This allowed us to identify someone who might not be a good fit for our group amd connect them with a leader from another department. One of the claims managers said point blank that he was looking for someone young. The HR rep that was present kinda choked and then said "But we dont say that out loud." They're currently focused on building a very specific culture and if you dont fit that mold, its not likely to happen.
It’s cheaper to hire a younger, less experienced person. Ageism is real.
I think they look for lifers- hence looking for new grad hires.
I had a virtual interview with them and got food poisoning. I sent an email letting them know that I wanted to still interview but wouldn’t be at my best and what did they prefer? They said do the interview and then gave me feedback that I wasn’t professionally dressed and didn’t smile enough.
Wow! I did get one interview with them wayyy back when I was fresh out of college. It took me 5 hrs to get to the location and I was broke and had a really cheap car with no ac so I was sweaty by the time I got there 🤣. They had me do 3 separate interviews back to back by the third interview I was tired and the last interviewer made a comment that I looked like had a long day (which l did, I had to leave the house at 5am just to get there). Sooooo of course I didn't get the job and I never got another chance to interview with them again after that, even after 9 years later.
I’ve gotten two very unprofessional calls from them stating they do not train and I must have experience in every part of the position. I have almost 9 years as an Auto Claims Adjuster. The positions required experience in total loss. In my experience, once we had a vehicle that was determined to be a TL, a TL Adjuster was assigned to handle that vehicle going forward. Same with injuries. So unprofessional that I do not apply there anymore.
I know for a fact (being friends with a LM trainer/facilitator) that LM provides/requires training.
Recently tried to apply on their website, and there was an error that wouldn't let me get to the application.
Last time I looked I got a call from the hiring mgr but didn't get further. Their middle market new biz started at $250k, which was much higher than I had experience with.
Oh okay gotcha 👌
😆
I just had a 2nd interview with LM today. I don’t think the hiring Mgr loved me. She started out by saying we’d have a “casual conversation”which messed with my head and I started rambling about my family 🥱
I sent her a thank u email but still can feel that “I sucked”
I hate interviewing & job hunting
I'm sorry 😔
I relate to this on so many levels!
Lol darn Liberty 🗽 Mutual
I did an interview and did not even get a follow up… mind you, i had the experience…
😒 🗽 sucks
