Anyone witness slackers who got into companies you have no idea how? Had a coworker who does jack chit at work besides chatting on Facebook yet lands at a faang company? I guess if he brings the same work ethic he will be spit out for sure. Or maybe he just had no interest in doing project work.

At some points, I feel I am becoming a problem magnet 🧲. Anything I touch or get involved in, tun into a nightmare despite doing my best not to screw up. I was a top performer a few months ago, and now I am a team blocker. I feel it so hard to disappoint people around me whom I respect a lot. Helpless 😞😞😞

Hello, I am a junior business administrator working in advisory operations. I have been with the company for 6 months, and was employed along with 2 other colleagues. I have picked the job up really fast and am even doing some “extra curricula’s” I really love my job. However I have recently found out I am being paid the same as an apprentice on my team, I usually do at 3 x the work he does whilst also doing my Cert CII. It has really disheartened me and I feel I should be earning more money

My lease is up in the coming months on my current vehicle. Wanting to upgrade to a Tesla Model 3. Will be able to put down around $10,000 down payment(don’t have enough saved to pay for it all in cash, and need a vehicle). Don’t really want to lease and thinking I want to buy new, but would be interested in hearing about people’s thoughts on buying used? Nightmare scenario and need your help. I moved into a new place in august knowing I was going to be WFH. Quiet, lots of light.

They just started construction right next to my building with all day noise, including a bull dozer and heavy machinery coming within 6 feet of my window. We’re also on the second floor so I mean RIGHT NEXT TO MY WINDOW.

I also have a bunch of men starting at me all day on too of the noise triggering my migraines. What can I do?

Does the location of your MBA program limit which office you can recruit too? I want to work at MBB in NYC and have an admit to Stern and Ross however Ross is providing an 80k scholarship. I’d like to take this scholarship but I really have a desire to be in NYC post mba.
