Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

My friend, there is a reason you put down your papers. and the reason for this decision- you would have already conveyed it to your superiors. And if they didn’t help you change your mind by doing what you requested for, why worry about them or the company any more. Just throw it all under the bus and move on. i am sure you will rock in your future company. ⭐️ They only want to reduce people in a posh way without damaging the ‘job security‘ reputation of the company and if they cared about you, you would have never thought about leaving. :) so don’t turn back. just leave: Future will hold something for you, better and brighter ☺️Bye.
Yes in dream! Chalo bhai after resignation dont dream of revoking
For the past 3 years, they are reducing the headcount to cover up their previous stupidity of overhiring for publicity. Now if people voluntarily resign, why will they try to retain?
And I know, now some "loyal Boschlers" gyani babas will come here to argue that if they want to reduce headcount, why are they still putting job openings. If you apply a little common sense, you would know the answer, but if you had common sense, you would not be a "loyal Boschler", so let me explain it for you.
They have to keep posting job openings to give a fake picture that the company is doing well and has plans to grow the business. In reality, many of those positions are not filled, and even those which are filled and bakras join, they are only backfilling for some of the people who left. Even freshers from 2023 batch have not been given joining date.
So anyway, retaining the people does not contribute to publicity and it goes against headcount reduction as well.
Thank you so much for the information

Why would anyone want to be retained at Bosch even after putting down their papers.
Bosch has the highest proportion of good-for-nothing freeloaders. It is mostly those people. They enjoy the comfort zone of Bosch where they don't have to do much work and get monthly pension. So they somehow manage to get a job offer, and then try their luck with this retention to get more pension from Bosch.
Otherwise how can we explain this. People spend some days to update their resume. Then they upload it in many job portals and send to referrals. They go through several interview rounds, finally manage to get an offer by luck. But now suddenly, after putting in so much effort, they suddenly realise they don't want to quit Bosch! Yeah sure, as if Bosch is some great company where you will regret quitting and change your mind! 🤣
Its true 80% ppl are freeloaders here. I worked first four years sincerely and eventually learned this. I got 10% promotion hike.
for last 3 years, I too become a freeloader. As a freeloader, I am getting 8-9% for last three years. I don't think it's bad - finally gaming the system.

Once comfort zone sets in, it's extremely difficult to come out of it. Many bosch lers have tough time outside where work pressure exist , and work is demanding.
The earlier we realize it the better.
