Another reason that delta is the best airline
If you have a lot of travel coming up, they actually do have a “Reclaim My Status” program... it’s essentially a status match for when you lose your current status due to some major life event - it’s pretty loosely defined but something like health issues, changing jobs, family situation all seem to qualify. Thanks that's what I was looking for.
Not sure why there's a laughing emoji. They had that program last year
What is a valid reason for missing status? You either make it or you don’t. They might be lenient if you were close though.
You must wait apply until your status actually downgrades, which is usually in February
Yes they do. I remember reading something about if you’re pregnant you obviously can’t fly and there’s ways to get your status back
I’m out of the country for a year with no United flights - any way to keep my 1K?
Just looked it up, I need to spend $24k which only gets me 500 PQP. Brutal.
I’m flying DXB - RUH which doesn’t have any star alliance carriers unfortunately
There was a program last year if you were close with a valid reason. I was bedridden for 2months. Just was wondering if they will have that this year
Worth a call if you think they would have let that go in the past
I like that they have a program like that
Maybe. I was on loa for cancer treatments a couple yrs ago and United, Virgin and Marriott all gave me the nx year at status. Hyatt didn't and lost my business.
