Thoughts on BCG Toronto?
Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte

Thought I was on LinkedIn when I saw this one

By this logic, didn't God give them cancer in the first place? It's as if I pushed some of lady down on the street to pick her up and act kind a good Samaritan.
Rising Star
So Mr Maben there re-posted her post as an image and added that text to it asking for followers...? Thats the real cringe here, stoopid "influencer" BS.
I admit to cringing at the “God” posts. It bothers me when people who studied for an exam and passed it credit it to “God” or people that got a job after interviewing credit it to “God”
I am trying to unpack why and I think it’s related to the fact that growing up I saw a lot of magical thinking related to God. I don’t want to be judgmental, but it isn’t easy.
Cancer beaters though?
@Isobar 1 Does the type of cancer really matters here? We should just celebrate her beating it not try and gatekeep which cancer is worse which isn't. I believe the atte tion should be placed on yhe poster who decided to use this women's image and than watermark it. That's cringe. But to comment on her is actually gross, especially coming from a fellow cancer survivor. You above anyone else should at least know of the pain she endured and empathize. As a cancer survivor myself, I'm actually pretty shock that this is your take. I understand that you believe it should be shifted to be more about how it affects her work and career but as far as we know she could have posted this on instagram or Facebook and the LinkedIn poster decided to place it on LinkedIn. She should be removed from the conversation and the man in question should be the one facing ridicule
I just don't understand what about the post itself is inspiring. And that's leaving aside the fact that it isn't tied to work in any way. I wish people would at least attempt to make these posts relevant for LinkedIn.
I'm sorry but if you think God has any control over these kinds of things, you shouldn't praise such a spiteful entity. What about the millions of people that have died of cancer? Did God not "love" them?
As someone who has hyper religious parents, this is a fair question.
