Survival of the fittest. Only the AI savvy will survive
And there are those of us using it and not admitting we use it .
I've heard very varied accounts of how these tools are actually working out. It seems to align with the much discussed study from MIT a few months back about how only 5% of companies that deployed AI were seeing any significant bump in productivity. That's pretty grim. I'm sure in some specialties, like coding, there are gains, but beyond that I'm skeptical.
Most companies are seeing an increase in productivity from those using AI. However, 49% are resisting.
To get positive ROI, there needs to be a reduction in staffing to offset the tech investment. That isn’t happening at most firms (yet).
They aren't reducing the workload at all at my company. They are raising expectations without adding any capacity. I feel like AI has made things even more unmanageable, to be honest with you.
