With elections coming up, I haven’t seen major PSA campaigns pushing for voting. The last big one I recall was Rock the Vote in 2009—it seemed everywhere. A TSwift post isn’t enough. A concert series for registered voters could be more impactful. What do you think?

I think I may have finally had it.

A couple of decades in this field and now I want to just walk away. The grind in tech is soul-destroying, and the vast majority of the time, coworkers outside of UX have no idea what it is, what it’s for, and how it’s applied. I’m at my wits end and the constant problem is a kind of “willful misunderstanding” of our process and value.

After wasting too many years on design immature companies, It’s senselessly depressing. I’ve given away too much of myself.

Trying to get out of consulting. Ux is so watered down and I’m terrified that it’s going to stunt my growth. I’m overall just not happy. Sure, consulting pats decently but I love the field of UX and just get stuck making wireframes that the customer requests. The field is so competitive right now and I can’t seem to land another job. Client removes all copy in ads re: product description or product benefits due to pending legal review. Removes visuals of product doing its job. Blames agency that ads aren’t driving traffic/sales
