I think I read about some kind of process where when an applicant reaches out to a current student or alum for a 1:1 and makes a good impression, the student/alum can send a message to the adcom letting them know? Is it like a "Hey I connected with this applicant and had a great conversation with them. I think they would be a great fit for the program" type of thing?

I’m a closeted no book reader. I’ve maybe read 5 books over the last 10 years… My teams over the years are always talking about all the books they read and providing recommendations, but luckily people tend to be more interested in sharing what they read rather than listening so I’ve made it this far.
