Hi fishes,
Any guess how many people are laid off from Publicis sapient in past few days? Really scared for my future as I'm also under probation period and deeply regret for my choice of joining this firm...I don't understand why were they recruiting peeps when they were short of projects. Publicis Sapient

I worked as external payroll for 1 year then I became permanent employee of organization was working. When i was a fresher my salary was below tax slab so my external exployer did not generate any form 16 for me. When tried to switch my new organization wants me to submit form 16 as BGC process. Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?
I recently interviewed for L7 EM at Google and had 4 great interviews and one not so great system design. I submitted external referrals all of which gave great feedback. The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google

I find it better to stay off the news or at least not read into it to much. Thru all the other turmoil, have I lost my job for the past 15 years? No. Everything is noise until it happens. The only thing you can do is be prepared. Don’t stress over the news.

I understand that mindset. Headlines can make everything feel unstable, but day to day work reality often changes much more slowly. For me the focus stays on staying adaptable and keeping skills sharp rather than reacting to every news cycle.
I think a lot about the news and everything that's happening. I built up my emergency fund after the pandemic, and I'm very glad I did. I'm not expecting to be laid off, but anything could happen with all the chaos in the world. It's good to hope for the best but try to be prepared for whatever may happen.

I think building an emergency fund after the pandemic was one of the smartest lessons many of us learned. I did something similar because uncertainty feels easier to handle when you know you have some financial breathing room.
I have been rethinking everything every single day. It is hard not to worry when there is so much uncertainty. I have friends that are looking for jobs and haven't been able to find anything for months.
Every day I wake up with a nightmare that I have been terminated. It is just a weird feeling I go through everyday

I try to not let all of that into my day to day
