If you dont mind me asking, what is salary range offered for Manager at Strategy consulting in Accenture?

like

Good explanation from A1. In my opinion, when it comes to your duties and what they expect of you, there is a difference between Accenture and Deloitte. If you move, be sure to check that out. Also: Accenture is not an accounting company. You will not he as limited, as in Deloitte when it comes to making business

Joined Accenture a few months ago and spent a few years at EY before. I would say that from a sales point of view, there’s less responsibility than Deloitte/EY but from a delivery point of view, a manager is fully responsible for driving delivery. If interested in getting to MD, your focus as a manger should be on delivery and as an SM should be on origination. If delivery is your path, then you don’t need to focus on sales too much at Accenture - which is not the case at Deloitte.

One thing I keep having to remind myself is that career mobility is higher than ever. Have gotten several offers at this point from companies that I "kind of like", and have been holding out for the dream companies. But I should probably just take a solid offer elsewhere. It would give me a foundation to build up skills and experience, and continuously applying for jobs while having a solid job is probably a lot less stressful than needing the perfect job before I graduate my MS degree in 2 mo.

Got an offer but not sure if its competitive. They were very professional and transparent throughout the whole process.

I dont see much growth in this role as PE is very lean and majority in the tech/business side are lifers in there roles

But I cant deny getting into PE and networking/learnings that come with it

I want improve my DS skills while it also be cost effective. I know recruiters don’t care as much about masters…

Looking to leave my auditing position with only 3 months of experience... I'm in a relatively small firm, and my manager's micromanaging is insane... Want to go into advisory, any advice is welcome.

I’m taking the SPHR in less than 2 months and haven’t started studying for it. How difficult is it? I’ve been in HR for 20 years and have experienced ALOT in that time, although there are always employee relations scenarios that surprise me! How much do I really need to study for this? I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do it, I’m so mentally burnt out at the end of the day from a high stress HR job, the last thing I feel like doing is studying HR!

Shot in the dark here. I'm currently deep in the rounds of interviewing for a "heavy" SM and every convo I have feels like I could probably ask for MD given my current sales / responsibilities and the differences in organizations. The ridiculous question is, is it better to start at SM and develop relationships, or go in swinging for sales? Noncompete will make sales targets hard, but going back a couple of notches and being "mansplained" on how to sell all over again might not be worth it.
