What are your opinions on going deskless in the classroom?

I think it is a great idea. I went from tables last year to single seat desks this year. It made collaboration and project work difficult because the work space is so small. Also, many of them began to outgrow the desks! Next year I am getting my tables back and am looking for a configuration that will support more floor time. I have large class sizes so I am not sure how it will work but I am going to try! The kids love to stretch out on the floor and under tables while they work!

I switched to tables this past year. 8' x 20". I prefer it and so do the kids!

I wish that I could go deskless! I put the desks together as if they were tables of 4. Works great for collaboration:)
